Armed Thief Caught on Tape

It was a quite night at a Shell convenience store in Titusville, Florida. Two clerks were working their late night shift. One of the clerks was a young student who had this job only as a part time source of income. The other was a 77 year old man who worked in this business for several years. They had no customers visiting their convince store for the past hour and were beginning to feel a bit sleepy. Suddenly, a tall 6.5� black male entered the shop. They both greeted him and felt uneasy about his jittery response and aimless gazes. The man approached the cashier counter and asked for two cigarette packs and some lottery tickets. The young clerk went inside the back room to get him his demands while the elderly cashier was restacking some items that fell of the shelf.

As soon as the cashier returned with the products the suspicious customer took out a knife from his pocket and demanded the cashier to give him all his money. The cashier was startled at first and could not believe that this was happening to him at this late hour of the night. He quickly regained his consciousness and grabbed a stun gun from under the counter. The thief did not even give him a chance to take out the money and immediately went behind the counter and began to fight with him.

In their struggle the clerk managed to use the stun gun several times on the thief but the enormous body of the thief did not feel any effect of the weapon, he was simply too big an powerful. The elderly clerk who was standing by the door of the store arranging the products, heard noises of the scuffle coming from the front. He approached the checkout counter cautiously. When he realized the dire situation he quickly grabbed a decent sized wooden stool and started hitting the suspect with it on the back of his head until the stool broke with no real effect to the offender.

The suspect finally realizes that he is outnumbered and could easily get arrested if the two clerks delay him long enough. He decides to flee the store; the young clerk goes after him. On his way out another young male customer who was just attempting to enter the store realizes the situation after the clerk alerts him that he is running after a thief. The young customer quickly grabs a metal bar and runs after the thief along with the clerk.
The outdoor security cameras show the outside situation as it unfolds.

The thief attempts to enter his car but he is confronted by the armed customer. He manages to put the key in the ignition but can not start the car due to the fight the customer puts up with him. The clever cashier thinks quickly and leaves the bandit fighting with the customer while he quickly went from the passenger side of the car and snatched the key from the ignition. He quickly ran back to the store. Realizing that the key is gone the thief rushes back to the store to see if he dropped it their. The two clerks take advantage of this golden opportunity and they automatically lock the door behind him. They immediately call the cops. They arrive soon enough to arrest him and save the two clerks from his savage behavior.
