Clerk Attacked by Two Thieves

In the Gulf coast of Florida a convenience store has not been robbed in seven consecutive years. Two men decide now is the time to change this fact. There are no other customers, and there is a lone female clerk operating the register. The store had lots of cash from a long busy day of work. The two innocent looking customers decide to start their evil scheme, one enters the store while the other stays outside and observes. But they have a problem, the clerk is on the phone and they do not anyone over hearing this robbery, so as long as she keeps talking they continue to act like they are shopping.

One suspect stood by the main entrance to the store as the other one walked around the isles and put some items on the cashiers counter as if he was going to purchase something. But soon the clerk senses something is not right. She asks the man in the store if she can help him find something and he replies that he found what he was looking for. She is not sure if these guys are legit or not, but she knows one thing, she is not hanging up that phone. The man finally decides to go ahead and start the attack even thought she was still talking on the phone. If they wait longer customers might come in and further delay their initiation of their evil plan.

The suspect approached the counter and started walking beside it until he came back behind the counter next to the cashier. He grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the floor. He got on top of her to prevent her from escaping and then began violently punching her in the face and upper chest. As soon as the second suspect, standing at the door, heard the desperate screams of the woman he left his position and came running to the back of the cashier’s counter. He was wearing white gloves to hide his fingerprints. He went right to the cash register and immediately looked under it, almost as though he may have known that the deposit bag and other items are kept there. The accomplice finds his prize, a black bag with the day’s take. As he kept looking for cash, his partner continued to hold the woman on the. He suddenly told his partner to head out. He and his partner make a hasty exit before authorities can arrive.

The two crooks managed to escape with several thousands in cash. The clerk survives this vicious attack. Upon seeing the surveillance footage the police officers admit that this is probably one of the most violent attacks that they have ever witnessed caught on surveillance footage. The clerk did not fight back at all, and that may have helped to save her life. These two men scored a big win, but they also made a big mistake. The second suspect touched one of the coolers inside the store which left two clear fingerprints. Further more, these crooks did not cover their faces, which have further eased their capture and prosecution by the police. Thanks to the surveillance footage provided by the security cameras an entire community will be safe for a long period of time.
