Nailing Thieves with Security Technology

There are many security methods that you can depend on to protect you, your property, and loved ones from invasions or robberies. Incorporating many different methods in your security plan will guarantee you a supreme security experience that will surely defeat any invasion one way or the other. The case that we will preview today will give us a practical example of this theory. This true story examines the combination of two methods of security to protect a small market. Security surveillance cameras were combined with weapons to defeat an attack on the store.

Clinton Township, Ohio. It is a busy night at the Wolferd market. A rash of robberies has forced the store owner to put it under heavy security surveillance. But they have another ace up their sleeve. Manager Clive Widol is packing heat and he is not afraid to use it. After a series of robberies and criminal activates he decided to keep a gun in the store. He further realized that in times of emergency and chaos he will not have time to load his gun, let alone go and look for it. So he decided to keep it in his pocket at all times, loaded and ready to fire.

At the end of this nightly shift business begins to slow. Widol and his female clerk were busy preparing to close the store. When suddenly, two gunmen burst in the store, but Widol was a quick gun drawer. Their guns were already drawn when they came trough the door and they were approaching the cashier area very fast. Widol stepped back, went down a little bit to get away from the few of the gunmen and to grab his gun form his belt sleeve. He then immediately came up while shooting his weapon at them. His first shot sends the parka clad robbers running scared for their lives. But Widol is right on their tail, he charges out the door unloading three more rounds.

What he did was a very risky and brave move, the robbers had their weapons already drawn and aimed at both him and his assistant, he could have easily gotten shot at with a fatal bullet. He had to choose quickly between surrendering or fighting, he choose to fight and protect his property. Fortunately his choice did not cost him his life this time. Moments earlier the outlaws were caught on tape casing the market, their capture was just a few blocks away from the store. Lucky for them, Widol was not shooting to kill but there are no guarantees what he will do for future criminals. Widol hopes that this does not happen again and that the outlaws will get the word out that this store will fight back in case of any criminal activity.

Thanks to Widol's color security cameras he was able to record the incident and share it with the police. Not only did the video footage prove the occurrence of the case to the police, but it also made it a lot easier for the cops to identify, capture, and prosecute the culprits.
