Protecting Your Property with Security Cameras
If you own a residence or a business and have experienced a burglary before you may recall the many feelings that you felt upon realizing that your property was invaded. Insecurity, fear, and concern were probably amongst the many feelings that you felt. Adding on you don’t even know who committed this crime to your property. Nobody was around to monitor your business for you while you were away. Luckily, there is someone who is willing to stay guarding your property overnight, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, without frequent breaks or holidays. This someone is a security cameras system.
Over the years these security cameras systems have become very popular due to their affordability and their functionality. These cameras can be placed in virtually anywhere inside or outside a facility. They can be place in an obvious location or can be hidden to capture criminals red handed in their crime. They also come in many sizes, colors, and styles. Some come with an infrared light to allow the camera to capture video in low light or even pitch black conditions.
In the real incident that we are going to discuss today the store clerks realized the importance of having a security cameras system in their store and so they invested in one. And sure enough, their efforts and investments paid off wonderfully.
The incident starts when a man pulls out a gun during a convenience store robbery in Memphis, Tennessee. As one suspect pulls and aims his weapon, his partner assaults the two clerks in the store. Two small boys believed to belong to one of the suspects watch in horror. With a gun in hand, he orders the kids to step back. When one of the clerks is dragged across the floor, his fellow employee picks up a baseball bat, but with a gun pointed at him, he can only watch as his coworker is beaten.
Despite all this, these clerks refuse to give in. one of the suspects grab some food while the beaten up clerk grabs the bat. Suddenly a shot is fired. Fortunately it misses its target. Still undeterred the other clerk gets a metal bar and unleashes his anger at the gunman and his partner. This causes one of the suspects to drop the food package that he picked up earlier. Then, yet another shot is fired, the suspect finally leaves. Police officers later come in and get a copy of the record surveillance footage; they also find finger prints on the dropped food package. Soon enough the suspects were found and arrested. They were charged with attempted murder and robbery. In the end, thanks to a bat, a metal bar, and shear determination no money was lost.
The two men would have escaped unpunished if it was not for their finger prints and most importantly the surveillance video of their facial features. This same incident could have easily happened to anybody's property, but not everybody has a security surveillance cameras system in their residence or business. Do not make yourself, your property, or your loved ones vulnerable to any criminal attack or burglary. Invest in a surveillance system and enjoy the peace of mind for many years to come.
