Savage Gunman

In a small convenience store in Bakersfield, California, a customer pays for merchandise from a store owner who is operating the cash register. They are only seconds from having their lives changed forever. Suddenly a man enters the store and rushes the counter. He comes right behind the customer standing near the cashier counter and while raising both of his arms above her head he threatened to shoot if he was not given the money in the register. He was holding a plastic bag in his left hand and a gun in his right hand pointed straight at the cashier. His face was covered in war paint and looked very unstable. The customer can not believe the nightmare that is unfolding. When she looked up at the face of this criminal he had his jaws clasped and looked very disturbed. And then it finally hit her that this a real robbery incident taking place right before her eyes.

Without waiting for the cashier to reach the register, the robber fired a warning shot into the wooden shelves next to the store owner and then unloaded two direct hits at the store owner’s torso. The victim started to moan and scream in pain. The customer could not believe that he did not even give the cashier a chance to give him the money that he asked for. The customer quickly made a run for the back door. She thought that she was going to get shot because the robber knew that she witnessed the shooting. This was a very smart decision, since the surveillance video shows that the gunman looked behind him as if he was searching for more people to shoot.

The cold blooded suspect bolded out the front door empty handed leaving the store owner for dead on the floor. The customer returns with help and calls 911. Behind the counter, the store owner still clings to life. When he was laying on the floor he could feel heat boiling around inside him. he realized that he was bleeding internally and was afraid to move because he always heard that if a person bleeds internally he should not move and simply stay as calm as possible. Fortunately, only one bullet hits the store owner and obliterates his spleen. It hits him in the arm and then hits his abdomen and goes out his back, right through him. Thankfully, he makes a full recovery.

Although the gunman has not been caught yet, thanks to the surveillance video, a blurry picture of his features might assist someone from the public in identifying him. Police officers are worried about this suspect and want to prevent him from killing somebody by getting him off the streets ensuring that this incident will never happen again. According to the store owner, what looked like a robbery might very well have been a calculated attempt at murder. He did not take anything from the store even after the clerk was down, not even a cigarette pack, as if he was only there to kill him. The very next day the store owner was going to go to court to testify on a previous robbery that was only four weeks prior to this incident. And it can be assumed that this gunman is part of that gang which explains why he wanted to kill the store owner for his gang’s saftey.
