The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a suspect who used a gas card stolen along with a number of other items out of the back of vehicles parked at a Eureka business this month.

Sometime between Dec. 20 and Dec. 22, authorities believe at least one person entered a locked yard of a business on the 2000 block of Eich Road, before opening tool boxes in the backs of vehicles and stealing equipment.

Some of the tool boxes belonged to employees of the business, HCSO reported.

Among the stolen items was a Renner gas card, which was used the early morning of Dec. 22. Security surveillance video shows two vehicles arrive at the gas station, to use the card. One is a white full-size Chevrolet pickup truck; the other appears to be a blue Nissan 200SX, HCSO reported.
