When a fake security camera is used in conjunction with a real surveillance camera , the CCTV system will provide an excellent deterrent to almost any willful destruction of your property at home or your business. Much of our selection is also available in a wireless version using real cell phone antennas. A fake camera is effective because it helps to prevent the crime from happening in the first place.

Most dummy cameras have similar features that make them look real:

-The housing/body of a real camera (usually from plastic material)
-A red blinking light (to alert intruders and let the general public know that monitoring is being performed)
-A cable for added effect (the cable makes the camera look more real but it's just a fake accessory)
-Batteries (many of the dummy cameras will take double AA batteries)
-Mounting kit (most are very easy to set up)

There are no detailed specifications that would be provided for a real camera (resolution, range, etc.). Most of the fake or "dummy" cameras are very easy to use and set up. Cameras will vary by shape (such as bullet shaped, dome shaped, etc.), by size (small vs. large), by portability (wireless vs. cable attached), or by functionality. Some have blinking lights, some can actually move, and others just sit there with no lights or movements.
