The AVer EH6216H is a Linux based true hybrid digital video recorder (DVR) that combines superior reliability at cost effective price.  Along with the reliability of Linux, the 16 channel hybrid DVR employs a full featured Graphical User Interface (GUI) which provides ease-of-use, high performance, and exceptional image quality.  For small to medium businesses, this AVer hybrid recorder utilizes existing analog technology while also maintaining the capability for further expansion to the IP realm.

This AVer DVR truly provides a hybrid solution with IP performance coupled with super fast analog frame rate.  Additionally, the EH Series DVR supports 50+ brands of IP cameras and compliant with ONVIF standards.

Hardware H.264 Compression
H.264 compression ensures the integrity and quality of images while reducing the size of the video files. With smaller file size, the EH hardware compression appropriate less PC CPU and RAM resources to enhance system performance.

Graphical User Interface
AVer’s award winning Graphical User Interface (GUI) maximizes user effectiveness and minimizes training time. The EH6216H GUI utilizes visual layouts and intuitive controls allowing the user to simply point-and-click for operations such as monitoring someone entering the building, search through alarms that occurred during the week, or immediately commanding an unraveling event.

Visual Search Forensic Feature
Along with the normal search features (date/time/event log), the EH hybrid digital recorder offers a simple Visual Search Forensic Feature. With Visual Search, the video footage breaks down into image thumbnails that can be visually set by hour, minute, or second to help rapidly locate crucial events.

Remote Video Management 
The EH Series digital recorder offers numerous remote monitoring capabilities through the use of mobile devices, remote computers, and with central management (CMS) software. Remote access through mobile device includes iPhone, Balckberry, and Window Mobile phones. Through the use of a remote computer, the user can manage and view live video using a remote console and the Internet Explorer browser. With CMS software, the user can manipulate multiple DVRs in multiple locations.
