AXIS PoE Midspan 16 Port

AXIS Power over Ethernet (PoE) Midspan 16 Port provides power to network video products for an easy, fast and cost-effective solution without the need of power outlets and electrical cabling installation.  This Axis midspan delivers both data and power over sixteen ports, with a maximum of 15.4W per port, using Ethernet cables to network video products with built-in PoE support when connecting to a network.  For network devices without built-in PoE, the Axis PoE splitter must be used to separate power and data coming over the network cable.

No Need for Power Outlets
The Power over Ethernet midspan can deliver both data and power over a single network Ethernet cable to network cameras and video encoders.  In areas where power cabling is unavailable or difficult to install, the midspan makes installing network cameras and video encoders in those areas easier.

With Plug and Play Installation, the midspan allows for quick and easy installation of network video products.  The plug and play feature provides for the discovery and device configuration of hardware component into a network.
