AXIS PoE Midspan 8 Port

AXIS 8 Port Power over Ethernet (PoE) Midspan powers network video products for an easy, fast and cost-effective solution without needing to install power outlets and electrical cabling.  With a maximum of 15.4W per port, this Axis midspan delivers both data and power to eight ports using PoE cables to network video products with built-in PoE support when connecting to a network.  For network products without built-in PoE, the use of a PoE splitter helps to separate power and data coming over the network cable.

No Need for Power Outlets
With the use of this Axis Midspan, network cameras and video encoders can receive both data and power using a single Cat5 Ethernet cable.  So for areas where power cabling is unavailable or difficult to install, the midspan allows for the installation of network cameras and video encoders.

IEEE 802.3af Compliance
The PoE midspan supports the IEEE 802.3af compliant devices.  With IEEE 802.3af compliance, the midspan ensures compatibility with all Axis products with built-in PoE support.
