Utilizing the fastest megapixel image rates, the Arecont Vision AV10005 H.264 IP camera offers a dual mode megapixel camera for unsurpassed high resolution video recording. The dual mode allows for the camera to display high quality 1080p resolution in real-time or at an even greater resolution up to 10 megapixels. As part of the MegaVideo line of cameras, this Arecont Vision megapixel camera capitalizes on the H.264 (MPEG4, Part 10) video compression providing for greater storage efficiency therefore allowing the camera to sustain 80 billion operations per second.

Fastest Megapixel Image Rates

For unsurpassed performance, Arecont Vision offers some of the fastest megapixel display speeds out in the market today.  The AV-10005 delivers HD quality 1080p resolution at a blazing 30fps (frames per second).  At 30fps, you get real-time imaging at a high quality resolution in one package.  For even better resolution, Arecont provides 10 megapixels at 6fps for the fastest rate.

Super Low Light Performance

AV10005 utilizes a 1/2.3 inch CMOS image sensor for super low light performance and higher light sensitivity.  The larger 1/2.3 inch sensor provides more surface area for light rays to hit and convert to electronic signals for image capturing.  This larger sensor also increases the sensitivity of the camera requiring less light and resulting in the AV-10005 needing only a minimum illumination of 0.15 lux.

H.264 Compression Standard

The H.264 (MJPEG-4 Part 10) compression offers a greater advantage when compared to previous MJPEG compression methods as H.264 can offer 10 times the average bandwidth and storage reduction over MJPEG.  With better storage ability, this Arecont Vision camera can save the user money on hard drive space to store the high resolution videos.  Using a more bandwidth friendly compression will make viewing this camera remotely smoother and crisper.

Forensic Zooming

Feel the power of a PTZ with the Arecont Vision's Forensic Zooming function.  Forensic Zooming allows for live zooming while recording at HD resolution.  This feature also provides for after-event zooming of the recorded event providing more versatility for your recording needs.

Region-of-Interest (ROI)

With the Region-of-Interest feature, the AV10005 camera can offer greater flexibility for your security surveillance.  Region of Interest or ROI works by drawing a rectangle with the mouse over an interested area.  A separate new window will open up zooming in on the selected region.  This feature offers value as the video is still live with a green outline in the selected area while showing a zoomed live view of the region of interest.

On-Camera Motion Detection

Motion Detection feature works by analyzing consecutive frames of video and detecting change in the image on a pixel by pixel basis.  The on camera motion detection allows for motion detection before sending the images to the computer.  So with on-camera motion detection, the user benefits as the camera reduces the CPU and network load for quicker processing.
