This CAT5DB-0 establishes the specifications for a four pair unshielded, 100 Ohm enhanced Category 5 data cable, used for LAN applications up to 100 MHz. A water swellable tape is applied longitudinally under a polyethylene jacket. SUITABLE FOR DIRECT BURIAL. The cable is particular suited for bi-directional transmission protocols including 622 ATM, gigabiethernet, and Wideband networking. It is also suitable for 100 Base TX, 100 Base VG and 155 ATM.
