GeoVision GV-SD010-S

GeoVision GV-SD010-S is part of GeoVision's GV-IP line of network security cameras using the latest IP technology in the industry. With the GV-SD010-S, the user has the option of varying there pan and tilt speed from a blazing 400 degree per second for fast tracking or to snail paced 5 degree per second for quieter operation. This Geovision PTZ also offers a highly accurate 0.225 degree pan to the fast and accurate tracking. Utilizing a 360 degree rotation and -10 degree to 190 degree tilt, tracking objects in the hard to see location directly under most dome is easily accomplished with this GV-IP speed dome.

High Resolution Zoom

The GeoVision GV-IP speed dome utilizes a 1/4 inch Exview CCD image sensor for high resolution images of 530 TV lines. At 530 TV lines, this GV speed dome also offers high speed pan/tilt rotations along with a powerful 18 time optical zoom to help get a clear close-up image of subject in a scene. For objects further away, upgrade to the 36X zoom version of this Geovision camera.

Advanced H.264 Compression

H.264 video compression offers a low bit-rate compression while maintaining the high resolution quality of the video. The better video compression requires less space to store and less bandwidth to view the images coming from the camera. Therefore, this Geovision provides a cost effective device to incorporate into a security surveillance system as you save money on hard disk storage and seamless remote viewing.

Waterproof Standards

Designed for outdoor environment, the GV-SD010-S features an IP66 standard weather proof rating. The IP66 standards offers protection against dust and powerful water jets protecting the interior of the dome with a waterproof housing.

Alarm Connections

The GV-IP speed dome provides for 4 alarm inputs and 1 alarm relay output for alarm management with the GV-SD010-S. Up to 4 sensor devices can attach to the PTZ that when triggered will alert the camera causing the GeoVision speed dome to refocus and rotate to view the area of intrusion.

Wide Dynamic Range

WDR or Wide Dynamic Range is a feature that compensates for poor lighting condition with either extremely bright or dark areas. Using WDR provides high quality video imaging in lighting situations which are not really ideal for surveillance such as those that have window to the outside or door entrances. For those reason, wide dynamic range is almost a must for surveillance in restaurants or stores.
