This personal digital video recorder is a three-in-one tool. As a flashlight, the white LED has three brightness levels to provide illumination in various lighting settings with minimal battery drain. During the day or night, you can conveniently record video with audio or take still photos.

I would like to recommend the Safety Vision SV-1500. I am a deputy in Harri County and use this tool for DWI enforcement. The dark light/no light functionality is great. The recording quality and sound quality is acceptable, though not outstanding. However, it is more than adequate for documentation purposes. The resolution is not outstanding, but acceptable. Transferring files from the camera to a computer is very easy. The date and time functions are very good and useful. The build quality is good, though it will not replace the typical duty light since it is not bright enough nor dense enough. I am not fond of the batteries that are used because they are unnecessarily heavy and charge time is a bit high at 6 hours. Also, you need to fully charge then deplete the batteries in order to keep them from having battery memory issues. Also, recharging them on the unit requires that you keep a watchful eye because if you plug the charger in at the wrong time it will not start charging. However, I am impressed with the unit overall and would recommend purchase, especially when considering that the other units available on the market are higher priced and don't come with IR lights built in, which to me makes this unit very useful and functional.
