The Samsung SNB-3000 employs H.264 CABAC entropy coding technology which is an advanced form of compressing, using far less bandwidth. The Samsung A1 network camera provides a high resolution of 600 TV Lines. The SNB3000 offers a Day & Night feature, along with a removable IR cut filter. Samsung’s camera has a slot for an SD card and is PoE compatible.
Quality Resolution
The SNB3000 offers a resolution of 600 TV lines. This is made possible by recording in 4CIF, VGA, and CIF modes. The maximum frame rate per second for this camera is 30. The camera reaches resolutions of up to 704x480. The SNB gives a live view and records up to 30 FPS at 4CIF resolution that gives the user optimal real time viewing and playback.
Samsung’s A1 network camera offers the invaluable feature of wide dynamic range. This feature compensates for the bright lighting coming from outside a door or a window and even shadow conditions. WDR is perfect for parking garages, license plate capturing, low fluorescent lighting, and entrances where sunlight is a factor.
Power over Ethernet
Power over Ethernet replaces the need for the regular AC adapter. The power and data to and from the camera can be transmitted over a CAT5 Ethernet cable connected to an Ethernet switch. This increases the range of placement of the camera.
Day & Night Function
The SNB3000 can record in color or black & white and during the day and night. This camera is sensitive to Infra-Red waves. This makes it ideal for recording at night. During the day, however, these waves affect the video’s colors and luminance. Samsung employs an IR cut filter which reduces these waves, and is removed automatically during night mode.
Dual Voltage
The SNB-3000 is compatible with dual voltages of 12V or 24V, making it convenient to easily integrate this camera to your existing central power supply.
