Sanyo DSR-2116 16 Channel MPEG-4 Digital Video Recorder DVR
The DSR-2116 offers the capability to smoothly record and playback movement at a maximum rate of 240 IPS (DSR-2116). It also features two HDD bays, enabling expansion of storage capacity. The MPEG-4 is capable of providing quality images at a low bit-rate. It is possible to record for considerably longer than systems using JPEG compression.
The DSR-2116 is capable of controlling PTZ dome cameras and zoom cameras through coaxial cables or RS-485. It also allows this control from a network PC or a controller. The unit also supports protocols of other major brands.
The DSR-2116 offers network connectivity with using Utility software and Internet Explorer.
MPEG-4 is an international standard for highly efficient digital encoding (compression) of video and audio signals. This means it is also highly efficient for transmission over a network.
