These infrared night cameras are nearly indestructable with their polycarbonate domes. They deliver about 350 - 600 TV lines of resolution (read "CCTV resolution 101" on our blog), 4.0~9.0 mm DC, vorifocal, auto-iris varifocal lens allow you to setup the camera shot quickly and easily. The many photocells controlled by the infrared LED's will provide invisible lighting up to 100 FT away in total darkness. The DO PVDIR 48AVF is great for parking lot observation, warehouse, bus barns and gate surveillance.

Our cameras are distinctive for having automatic white balance, back light compensation, digital zoom, image stabilization, motion detection, OSD onscreen display, privacy masking, and wide dynamic range (Read about WDR on our blog).

Our vandal resistant IR dome cameras can be ordered with a fixed lens or a varifocal lens. A fixed dome camera has a lens that holds a single position. You can buy dome cameras with different sizes of fixed lens. The security camera lens size determines the field of surveillance view that the camera provides. The larger the size of the lens, the more narrow and zoomed in the field of view is. A varifocal lens offers the flexibility to simple adjust the focal length and adjust your camera view with a simple turn of a dial. A varifocal lens is more expensive, but are the most flexible and best quality.
