It works good, easy install. Just mount the 4 cams. One cable, plug in.cams then DVR I had a spare HDD. Slipped in, plug in. Ready to run. Install wizard walks you the process. Paper instructions, poor, go online. Instructions better. Split screen watch all. cams or just one. Good color day/good night vision (like daytime) black&white. Anyone can do this , cable are tagged camera & DVR. Cams has 3 way axis, a no brainer install. Best I found & I.do a lot of online buying. You everything you need, recommended.

Ive had this system installed for 2 months. Very satisfied. Good night vision and crystal clear day time video. I installed a 2TB hard drive and I expect to get 3 to 4 months of continuous recorded video before it starts over writing. The only negative I have is with the instructions. Once you figure it out its fairly easy but the instructions should be more specific. The Web addresses provided didn’t work. It took me a while to figure out how to get my laptop to work with the software. Downloading the app and setting up my phone was easy with the code scanner. Bottom line.. This is an excellent system for the average person that wants a security camera system.

It will take a little while to figure out how to use this system, but once you do, it has some really nice features that make your surveilling efforts top notch. Camera quality is good, nothing to write home about but gets the job done. Motion detection recording is great so you don’t fill up your hard drive instantly. I use it connected to separate wifi router, so I can log in to the camera interface at it’s IP address and do everything I need to from my computer anywhere in the house. Great system!

Overall an awesome security set up, especially for price. This camera has caught my neighbor’s dog crapping on my lawn and the same neighbor’s kids hitting my car with their bikes on multiple occasions. Let’s just say I have all the proof I need now to file some complaints. They have been doing these things all year but kept saying “you don’t have proof so they (landlords) can’t touch me!”… Well, hope my neighbor has fun explaining my proof to the landlords 🙂 The motion detection works well – maybe even too well, often times when there is a breeze and the bushes in the front lawn move, it will trigger a camera. Not really a problem, just proves how sensitive the camera is as far as detection goes. They’ve been in rain and wind and have held up well so far. Not sure about snow as I’ve only had them since the spring. Set up for a not-very-tech-savy person such as myself was easy. Honestly I just use tape to hold the cameras on the wall instead of screws. So far has worked well. I would definitely buy this again if I ever needed to.

This system is really good for the amount of money I paid for it. I am using this for around my house, I would recommend buying a higher quality system for a business, you do get what you pay for and in this case its slightly better than what is being charged. It takes a little getting used to the software, but once I played with it a bit it was easy. The camera’s are doing well, they are all outside. The night vision is great for a camera. I have not used the mobile app, not sure if I will.
