    The DVR works very well. The build quality is excellent, the cameras are not bad. In camera quality I would rate them at 7 out of 10. I have two (2) issues though. 1). The camera housings are alright, so I’m not sure how long they will last being outside facing all the elements. 2). The phone app is draining my Samsung S5 battery. I see the battery percentage decreasing as the minutes go by. Setting up online is very easy. I would still recommend,. For the price this is an excellent camera system..

One with the late shipment and the other installing the systems and honestly for soomeone who is not tech savy it is not that easy specially if you are going for self install. I recommend you take their installation services which I had to eventually get after a couple of failed attempts at installing it myself so the review has a few stars off it

    The dar and the cameras were very easy to set up.The cable was very long and it could go up to the third floor from the first floor.It took just 10 minutes to set up the dive,just plug it into the monitor and itll set up.The 1Td hard drive was already set up for me.After set up,your left with 923GB of memory.Connecting it to the network was very easy and convenient. The 720hp looked very nice on my phone.Id never thought id Ill be able to buy a camera and a dive set for such a good price.Currently I love this system,but I would wish that the camera was all wireless since handling the wires was very tiring.

    **Packaging & Shipping**
    I’ll start off by saying that this product was packed very well. None of the contents were damaged or missing.

    **video recorder Setup**
    Setting up the video recorder was super simple. To install it was easy, simply remove the 4 screws and connect the SATA & power cables to the HDD. Then use the provided screws to attach it. This keeps it from sliding around. I then connected the provided Ethernet cable to my home router and used a VGA cable to connect it to an old PC monitor that I had. The VGA cable and monitor are not included. There are other ways to set this up if you don’t have. Now that everything was connected, I plugged it up and followed the onscreen prompts. SIMPLE!

    **Camera Installation**
    Now here I did things a tad bit different. The system is a system but I’m picky I did not want to see ANY wires. Exposed wires are easy for an intruder to cut. Another reason I wanted to hard wire the system is because I had NO power source anywhere around where I wanted the cameras installed. I also purchased a PoE Injector/PoE splitter kit . This allowed me to run only 1 Ethernet cable per camera to my network switch. I also purchased the switch I used on 2M as well. If you decide to go hardwired it’s a bit different then a normal setup. Took me awhile to figure it out and the instruction manual doesn’t go into much detail on setting up IP cameras.. Once you plug the camera directly into your switch you can do a refresh to find the IP camera. You may even have to change the IP address once it populates depending on your network configuration.

    **UI/System Setup**
    Once I had everything installed I started to play around with the settings. If you decide to set this up on a PC monitor like I did, it’s pretty straight forward. All your options to record and auto delete old data are in the system settings.

    Again I’m 100% satisfied with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a super reliable security camera system. It only took me a few hours to install and my entire family is very happy with it. We already feel SO much safer with this system installed!

    This unit of security system works great on protecting my house and my family. I installed the four cameras at the four corners on my roof. It is pretty easy for me to drill a hole and screw the cameras on the wall. But before you begin to set them up, you should organize and measure carefully in case of the wires are not too long for your central system. These cameras recorded a lot of clear videos. Especially the night vision function. I can check everything during the night through my app on the phone. You do not need to stay in front of the desk and keep an eye on the monitor either. The video is very clear in the night. I am pretty satisfied with this system.

    Literally just set up the system in the shop, I was surprised of the picture quality and the night vision mode. The picture is clear and set up was easy. The phone app works great, I haven’t had a chance to play around with the notification or the cloud set up yet, but overall this set up is really good. The package was packed nicely and the directions were clear. Make sure you leave room for the antenna when setting up the cameras they are a little on the bulky side.

    Love this security camera set! It come with four camera and one receiver, but there are eight channel so you can add more camera if you need, I put one at my front door, one at backyard one two on the side. Installation is pretty easy, and the app

    Update: After talking with the company I have updated this to 5 stars. They were able to address many concerns.

    This is a great product that has all the major features I needed. There is room for improvement especially with the UI, but I recommend this for anyone who needs a basic security system on a budget. The main reason I bought this was to have live notifications and recording for Motion Detection when I’m away from home. I was able to setup instant email alerts to gmail and my phone for whenever Motion is recorded into the cameras. I am also able to access the recording remotely with my phone using the app, but the mobile app doesn’t always work properly. Overall this is a great system I would recommend.

    – Great communication from seller
    – Functions with all necessary features and is well packaged
    – Night vision works well
    – Cameras are built with high quality
    – Included manual is pretty helpful
    – WIFI range seems good
    – Price is fair for what you get
    – Easy to manage the video recorder using a dedicated monitor setup
    – Live notifications for recordings through email
    – 18 month warranty included

    Cons:
    – No way to delete individual videos, entire drive must be formatted. The company says this is a built-in security feature.
    – EseeCloud and IP Pro Mobile lose connection often and must be restarted to reach camera feed.
    – Motion Alert is easily triggered and often appears upon exiting system menu.
    – No Sound Recording. Max resolution of saved mp4 is only 640×360.

    Here are the instructions I was given for obtaining 1280×1024:
    1. Please use the VGA or HDMI cable connect the camera with one monitor.
    2. After connected, click right button enter the setting page.
    3. In General Setup, you can choose one resolution according to your preference in Display Resolution, but the camera only can support 1280*1024 resolution so far.
    4. Click the apply button, then you can transfer the recordings to your PC.

    Set up was fairly easy. Motion detection works well but it a little much. Notifies you about every moth that flies by. (Im sure I can change the settings but I just got it and havent played with settings) Night vision works well a little hard to see faces.
    I did have a problem with one of my cameras not working. I called customer service and they helped me immediately and gave me my money back for the broken camera! Very helpful company!

    Initially the camera set was bought for house security but quickly turned into a animal cam. Set up was very easy, just plug and play with a app available to download to access on smartphone. The app does at times just close but it was easy to set up and works really good. The picture quality on these cameras are good, even at night however the think the internet connection and speed does at times cause a delay and will add fuzziness. Overall a good buy and would recommend it.

    Starting with the pro’s and con’s for this product. There are a lot of pro’s about this set that I purchased. Everything was packaged perfectly, No missing parts, each camera comes with its own allen wrench for when the cameras need to be adjusted to your liking. After everything was unpacked. All that need to be done was install the camera’s. (They only require power for the camera’s unless you install them differently. Unfortunately I had to run power to the camera’s, Which I was prepared for when I purchased these. So for those who are interest in these camera’s, Make sure you have outlets for these camera’s. After running the power for these camera’s, it was easy to mount the cameras, after the camera’s were powered and mounted. All we had left was to set up the video recorder hud. It was super straight forward and easy. I had no issues there. Now for the Con, I was not a fan of making adjustments to the camera’s because it was difficult to adjust to certain angles, and when I got an angle I liked the antenna was in a awkward spot. After messing with the camera’s and getting them right where I was happy with them. I was extremely pleased with the final result. The night vision looks great and the quality of the picture is worth the price. For those who want to know why I purchased these camera’s. It’s because I am unable to watch my dogs from my home office, so I bought these so I could keep an eye on them. It’s just an awesome bonus that I get some home security with it! 5/5

    This camera system works very well. As soon as I plugged in the receiver and the cameras, the display came on with a live picture. I then proceeded to test out the night-vision capabilities, and it works extremely well. Including a mouse and all the mounting hardware you could possibly need is a very nice touch. What would really complete the package would be some cable ties for cable management. Also, the camera power wires are long which is good. A suggestion for that is maybe having white and black color options for the camera power wire. That way customers can choose between black and white colors depending on the exterior color of their house so the setup will look more stealthy. However, I can’t complain for this price point. Overall, a very solid package.

    We received our 2M system a week ago and couldn’t be happier with how well it works! Set up was so simple. Find a spot for the camera, plug it in then hook up the box to your router and it synced so quickly! We prefer to use our iPhones to view the footage from the cameras but we have tested it on a tv too. Both work very well and the picture quality is so nice, both during the day and at night. We put two indoor and the other two outdoor and so far it’s been great, no issues.

    Love these cameras. Easy to install and get running. I use them mostly to keep an eye on my older kids while I am tending to the littles inside. Right now we have them set to record based on motion sense, but found that part does not work as well. Due to an incident we have them set to record 24 hrs.     Overall I think this is a very budget friendly camera. I’m using this for outdoor so will have to keep this post update in 2 phases. The first month and maybe half a year later if I remember. Here are some of my thoughts:
    some Pros
    1. is strong. Putting in the front and back of the house works.
    2. It’s a well suited starter pack for most home/office needs
    3. overall, the instruction is easy to understand
    4. if this was for indoor, any household can do this him/herself and i appreciate that.

    I will continue to monitor the durability of the thin power cable to withstand the east coast cold weather. Also will play around with the wifi connection. At the moment, this is just planted off-line without any mobile access.

    I am writing this honest and unbiased review.

    So I have purposely waited several months to write this review so I can write a review without just guessing or fully understanding how the cameras work in heat, cold and rain. Although it has not snowed or even gotten down into the negatives yet these cameras have done fairly well in both daytime and nighttime. They were simple to hook up to the system, I even added another camera and that was fairly simple.
    The power cords that come with the cameras are fairly long themselves.

    The night vision is good, these are the ones that face the ground, I have one on top of my house looking behind the house and at night it is not that great on night vision,

    So far these cameras have had no problem connecting to the Wi-Fi where they are at, some have a lower signal but they don’t cut out. I would like to put a couple of cameras behind a hay barn to keep an eye on animals and my hay stack at night but I will need a repeater for this, roughly 100′ behind the house and roughly 20′ behind where another camera is at.

    Overall I enjoy these cameras, you get what you pay for and these are worth every dollar! . These cameras have done me good and I intend to purchase 3 more to fill up the 8 spot that you can have on one system.

    This camera system is really easy to set up and to monitor. The sensitivity of the cameras is super high moths and spider webs can set it off if you have it pir enabled. Connecting the cameras to wifi is easy. Setting up the email function was a little trickier but one simple email to tech support had a quick response and up ND running in no time. Both my husband and I can each monitor the system while away from both of our phones. His iPhone app is set up a little different than my android app but each function with ease and are easy to navigate. We will now travel and go camping with no worries at home.

    I did adjust the brightness of the cameras while the hdmi cable was plugged into our TV. The brightness turned up. Hue turned up. Contrast turned down a little. Adjusting it made even nighttime pictures show up clearly. Whether we have deer visitint our yard or just a cat running through the clarity is beautiful.

    There are a lot of settings to browse thru and pin point to your own liking. Took us a couple days to navigate and tweak to fit us..

    Would recommend and have already recommended it to people we know.

    installed my 2M sytem today. I can’t believe how easy the process is to be up and running in a few hours. The cameras connect without fuss. My furtherest camera is about 60 feet away. Wifi strength on that is 3 bars going through 2 brick walls and 5 plaster walls! I will be adding more cameras since the system is expandable to 8 total. Camera image in daytime is execellent and night vision is great. I bought this as a result of someone trying to break in our home at 130 am and we couldn’t see him out of the windows. He tried both front door and rear door, and in the back yard I was only able to see him about a minute through one window. He eventually left but we didn’t know so we waited until the police arrived before I opened the front door to look. They did catch him two houses down the street. I will not be without a view of our doors and windows now. A really good easy to use system at a budget price. Thanks 2M

The cameras are except for the power line to the cameras So I can plug the camera (4 of them) into an outlet and the receiver unit will lock up to the camera within a minute.l hard drive hooking up was no problem with the easy to follow instructions. I can use my phone app to watch the video feeds from the cameras and even rewind the videos and watch away from home. The unit came with 4 cameras (which can expand to 8 ) I am very satisfied with this product.

    Almost everything you need is in the box. I had to splice some cables to have long power connections to the cameras its very inconvenient to try and connect a camera everywhere there is an electrical outlet, so I used a seperate power box to run them where I needed them. However the dvr is fairly easy to set up and the menu is quite useful. Signal isn’t to bad and the time delay isn’t either.     The cameras are VERY easy to install. They are already paired with the video recorder device that it comes with, so all you have to do is plug in the camera and the picture will pop up on the app or monitor. The cameras look sleek, the picture is very high quality, and the app gets the job done. Here are some things that you’ll need to know prior to purchasing:

    1. This product works best with a computer monitor. You will need a monitor.

    2. If you want to install these on the outside of your house, you will either need to drill a small hole to access the inside, or use an outside plug-in if you have one. Before you drill a hole, make sure you have a solid, wooden 4×4 area that the screws can be installed into. Three screws per camera. Also comes with pieces needed to drill into cement/stucco.

    I did plenty of research for the product with highest value (price vs. quality), and I am happy with my decision.

    I really liked the easy setup, just plug in the VR and plug the cameras into the wall outlet, then the picture shows up on a monitor connected to the VR (not included). I had a bit of trouble setting up the motion detection, however, I eventually got it down. The night vision is super powerful, it goes beyond what they say it does. I can see my whole backyard (1/2 acre) with just one camera mounted outside a window on the second floor. So far, it has been really useful finding out when packages arrived, and what contractors/workers came to work to fix things. I am very impressed with this system and believe it is great, But this is a great system for the money. Excellent packaging and condition of product. Great manual with detailed instructions.

    The Heimvisiin 241 system with the VR is a very good system. The pictures from the cameras are clear and have true color.The night vision is good also. The only issues I had installing the system was finding a place for the cameras where I was able to plug them in once installed. The other issue was in deciphering the instructions setting up the VR. Once that was figured out, I was very happy with the product. I would definitely recommend this product.

    This system is great! For the price you cant beat it. I was impressed with the small details when programming the Motion, time ect. The option for the Motion Zone really allows you to pin point where in the picture the motion will be sensitive so the camera wont be notifying you for no reason. For example, you can face a camera in front of your house with a busy street in the frame , but your front door is also in the frame. You can move the zone to the front door only. The camera will only come on when the zone is entered. The busy street wont effect it at all. There are lots of other features to love about this system. I highly recommend it!

    This camera is absolutely wonderful! I had been looking for something with good quality, decent cost and easy installation. I can say I got my money’s worth immediately. The software installation was very simple. I was also very happy to see that I had a few options for mounting the camera. Once the mount is secure on the wall, attaching the camera to it is very simple and easily allows you to adjust the camera angle or remove the camera at any given time.

    The quality of the picture and video is very good and the night vision function works perfectly.
    The weather proof is nice so I had no concern during rainy season and the cameras were not affected.
    I have use the camera mostly for the front and rear entry to my house and it has increased my peace of mind whenever I am in the comfort of my home or away.

Video can be a bit grainy when zoomed it but for security purposed it couldn’t be better. The design lends itself well to precipitation as well – neither rain nor snow hindered the operation or got in the line of sight. Power cables could be somewhat longer but overall probably best not to have them handing about either.

    The cameras are very good quality product,
    They are very solid and definitely worth the money.
    The Box is very light weight and fragile so be careful and handle with care.

    I would give five starts if there was no delay and if the picture was better quality.

    Overall all they are very good, easy to install as they connect instantly and definitely cheap compared to other products out there.

    This security system is great! I never had a security system before and thought it would be a hassle setting it up. To my surprise, The system was very easy to set up. The connection to the application is also superfast and easy, once connected you can see what the cameras see and interact with them. Hooking up the cameras was a breeze since all you have to do is plug them into power and they automatically connect to the system! Ive had the system up only about a week. Great signal to cameras. Night vision works well. Picture quality was better than expected. Cameras seem high quality, metal bodies and heavy wires. the camera power wires are long which is good.Setting up a hard drive is real simple. It has a tool built in to format your additional hard drive pretty quickly, and immediately begins recording after. After installing the hard drive, I tested the recording and it all is working very well. Waterproof is also a very important feature such since it uses for outside. The app that I downloaded was easy to use and remote access simultaneously on my smart device can make life easier. Overall, it’s a great value for the money. I highly recommend it.

    I wanted to add some extra storage capacity in the hard drive so I can have a continuous recording that can be stored for 60 days and then be deleted automatically.
    The HD installation was very easy and straight forward, turned the equipment on, connected to my router and TV and whala! instant pictures and video feeds from all cameras.
    The system does require some tweaking to set it at your preferences but, it works as intended. Easy and fast to access the video feed from my mobile phone and computer away from home once software has been installed and adjusted in my devices.

    Great value and delivers as advertised.

    Pros:
    – Relatively simple to set up and use. Just plug in, put in some settings, put the device ID into the app and done.
    – No need to sign up for an account (just use the “local experience” option on the app)
    – No need to manually forward any port on your router’s NAT nor knowing your IP, just need the device ID.
    – Really cheap.

    Cons:
    – No need to manually forward port nor knowing your ID implies there’s a NAT traversal gateway server somewhere that may go down in the future.
    – Default setting has no password, and as such, by default, anyone knowing your device ID (or brute-force scan for one) will be able to connect as soon as you plug the video recorder into the network if you don’t set your password first.
    – No TLS for connection. People can sniff for your password on, say, open wifi networks.

    All-in-all, decent device for the price, as long as you know and workaround the shortcoming. I would say that if you don’t have any computer background or networking experience, get a friend to help you set this up.
