    I had an old Night Owl system and night vision was horrible, Since I installed this unit I love it. Night vision is Great. Internet connection is so easy to configure. Only details is to rotate the cameras, you need to choose between left and right or up and down.

    I purchased these for my parents. They live out in the country and have terrible internet service so WiFi cameras wouldn’t really be the best choice. This set includes 8 wired cameras, the DVR and the hard drive. So far we only have 4 cameras put up but they work great. I helped him set up the system which is pretty easy, just don’t read the instructions because they are a little confusing. Once you get it started up, its pretty straight forward. He has it connected to a 32 inch TV so you can see all 4 cameras at once. It has a VGA connection too I used at first to set it up.

    After receiving and using this surveillance system. Here is what I like to express. The quality of the image is great! The night vision is makes the night just like daytime. The included extension cables made the coverage possible for my house. As I was playing around with the system, I figure the motion detection work like a breeze. I will really recommend this system for anyone who need a little safety around bad neighborhoods. I have included some picture and video for how it feel to get the system setup.

    It took me a while to make the decision to choose this set. If you have a handyman at home. It is ok. The set up may take a little bit time, but the pairing system is easy. The company has its own barcode to download. Once you download the app, then it is easy to connect the system. It comes with 1 tb hard driver. So it is enough for regular use. In addition, since we have app at the phone. We can easily track the screen. The night vision is really helpful if you have a big yard to monitor. Nice to have. Special nowadays things happen for no reasons.

    I install a lot if these systems and this is the one i been gravitating twords. It’s has most all the features of the higher dollar systems but dont give up a lot of the quality. They all have lasted the past 3 years trouble free. The internet features can be tricky for the non tech savvy.

    Hook it up, put the cameras somewhere, log it into your phone and your done. You don’t even have to mount the cameras. You could hide one under a couch and have it aimed at the front door, put one in the corner of your dining room. If your careful with the cord, it can even be a hidden security so maybe if you do have an intruder…they won’t know until it’s too late. Their face is caught and everything hopefully!!!

    Setup screens are difficult to navigate. More simple setup is needed. Downloaded the proper app for viewing camera live feed online, help screen on app does not match the software on the DVR.

    Fairly easy to install. The camera cables are 75 ft long each. Plenty of length to reach the recorder. Hooked the DVR to my network, downloaded the app and everything was simple to hookup and use.

    It took us a while to get started, but once we did it was pretty easy. We have an old house with two stories so running the wires was the most difficult part. Once all the wires were run, it was clear sailing. The cameras’ views are quite good; we have a hip roof and placed all the cameras low so we could get facial shots (which we hopefully will never need). You need a TV/monitor so that you can view the camera and their angles. with the eight cameras we are able to see entirely around our home. We tested the night views and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. The DVR gives you several choices as to screen layout. We chose the 9 screen set-up to start, but you can easily rotate through each camera at full screen. We have not yet hooked up to the internet, but that’s our next step. There is an app that allows you to view on your phone, and, on their website, a program that allows you to view on a computer screen (at work, for example). I will update this review once we begin using the internet functions. So far we are very pleased with this set and have already recommended it for a DIY set-up.

    My goal with this review is to provide information that others may not. you MUST have a way to hook the system up to the internet if you plan to access the cameras remotely either with your phone or from a computer. To be able to use the mouse and see the TV I bought a wireless mouse with strong signal so I could control the unit as needed from the living room. If you mount the DVR near your TV this shouldnt be problem. And finally, if youre wondering how the cables work, each 60 foot cable is basically two wires in one. There is a power and signal connector on each end of the cable. So the signal and power for the camera travel through what looks like single cable but that single cable splits into two connections at each end. I hope this information helps.

    My friends bought this security camera system before and recommended it to me. Its useful and I can cover my house anywhere anytime. I followed the insde instructions step by step and plug in with cameras. It was easy but it really mademe to spend more time to set them up. It camewith eight cameras. I hooked them upfor eight different places. Then connectedthemtogether. Itwas really a big workcause we needed to hide the wires. I connect this system to my tv.The best thingI loveis thatthe1TB HDDwas included. Icanview live videos and play back. I can see everything clearlyon the screen . This security camera system is awesome. Its a valuable product for me. Finally, I dont be afraid of thieves. Very recommended to yall!

    I recently got this after attempting IP wireless cameras. It comes with everything you need. The picture is very clear and online immediately once I get it running.I’ve installed itat my house for over one weeksnow.The set up is easy, although wires are almost always a pain.But The included cables are generous in length. Once installed, it works great. Video quality is as expected.Toview remotely via a smartphone is very helpful.

I Love These Cameras,I have Every Inch of My Property in Sight.The Only Thing I would Really Like To Have is a Remote to Switch The Cameras.I just set them on swap and they switch every 5 seconds or however long you set them for. Nightvision works good too. I can see At Least a 100 feet.

    So far I enjoy my camera system. The hardest part was fishing the wiring in the attic and down a bedroom wall. I received a lot of good tips from watching you tube videos on installing security camera systems. I recommend purchasing fish tape and a fiber glass rod for fishing cables/wiring at Harbor Freight. If you are a do it yourself person and you have handyman skills then by all means do the work yourself, otherwise, hire an electrician. Hiring an electrician who specializes in CCTV systems will run you about $300 to $700. It took me three days for installing the entire system.

    It is a little complicated for me to set up at the beginning. fortunately the instruction says very clear to let me install it myself even it took me almost two hours. The result makes happy. Worth it.
    The quality of the pictures are very clear and it also has motion alarm that would secure my home whenever there is an action.
    I dont really need all 8 cameras so I only installed 6 of them. Not Im trying to figure out where I can put the last two. This will be my project for this weekend

    Works great. Set up was easy enough with the instructions. Quality is good. I might prefer a wider angle view but overall I am very happy. Camera mount is very adjustable for any angle. Phone app is good too, very easy to use. I like the wired units as most were not going near a plug in, so it is easier to wire back to the base unit than have to find 110v power.

    I got these to replace an older moder that was damaged by a power surge. It takes a bit of reading to get the networked cameras up bit its still a good machine. Just download “2M” instead of the app the manual recommends and you’ll have the cameras up on your phone. The old app is not in use anymore but you had to find that out after reading online. That’s what had me stumped for hours.
    Oh only thing I noticed is it DOES NOT have the ptz control for moving pan, tilt, zoom cameras.

    Great system with great live video. Very easy set up, you basically connect the cameras to the DVR, hook up a monitor and turn it on. I initially had an issue the QR code for Android not working. . 2M support has a lot of on line instructions to step you through the process to get email alerts and motion detection set up. You will need a good strong wifi signal to view video on your phone.

    Setup is easy and although the picture quality during GOOD lighting is decent, its definitely not 720p and the night vision is honestly useless. It’s SO grainy and bad that you can’t see much even from up close. I would rather spend a little more and get something decent with better viewing angles. And the fact that they don’t sell the cameras individually is another minus
