The Arecont Vision AV-2110 compact series camera is an MJPEG encoding, 2.0 Megapixel resolution, IP addressable camera, designed to deliver full motion high definition progressive scan digital video across local area networks in a compact package. This camera offers over six times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras with the ability to output full real time frame rates.
This is useful when CCTV video footage needs to be previewed and analyzed in criminal and other legal cases. The on-camera motion detection feature consists of 64 detection zones. When motion is detected, either an audio alarm triggers or recording starts.
The automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain constant brightness level and backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. With the auto multi-matrix white balance feature, the camera takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions.
