The Hikvision DS-2TD4035D-50 is an outdoor thermal optical Bi-spectrum network dome camera enabling thermal imaging is equipped with smart tracking, smart detection, smart recording, smart encoding, and smart tracking linkage. For night surveillance, it covers IR distance of up to 150m and IR intensity is auto adjusted, depending on the zoom ratio. Moreover, it comes with high-performance 1/3” sensor offering up to 1920×1080 resolution with 3D intelligent positioning function. This IP66 protected device is equipped with 30X optical zoom (4.3mm to 129mm) and 16X digital zoom and has a support for auto iris, auto focus, auto white balance, backlight compensation, WDR and 3D DNR, which in turns helps the thermal camera to deliver good quality images. Moreover image enhancement technologies such as defog, high light compensation, EIS are involved. With 384*288 resolution, high sensitivity sensor, it supports contrast adjustment and has an Ethernet control and analog output. It comes with a built-in Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and supports up to 8 NAS, edge recording. Support dual-stream technology, it comes with H.264/MJPEG/MPEG4 (H.264: Baseline/Main/High Profile), real-time output resolution HDTV1080p (SMPTE274M Standard), 960p and HDTV720p (SMPTE296M Standard).

This camera works better than I expected, even though I read the reviews and descriptions. The instructions are limited but with a little bit of patience I was able to figure out most of it. I have both my wife’s and my phones able to view the cameras images. I will be purchasing at least 3 more. And yes you can see video outside of your area as long as you are able to acess a decent internet signal.
