The Vivotek IP7161 is a 2-megapixel fixed network camera with day and night functionalities. It features CMOS sensor and auto-iris 4.5 ~ 10 mm vari-focal lens that efficaciously covers the wide entrances of buildings, offices, bungalows, airports etc, where you need to keep a check on each and every detail of the person and its belongings entering or exiting the premises.
With this 1600 x 1200 resolution HD camera, you can capture six times larger sharper and detailed image of the targeted region than a VGA cam. The ePTZ function of this cam allows you to zoom, pan and tilt the camera to take closer and better shots of the object. Moreover, it also supports multiple video streaming in different resolutions and frames. This multi-function camera allows you to save your recordings in compressed formats without loosing their quality. 
The built-in detachable IR-cut filter and an intellisense auto-iris lens balances the light casted on the object so that the camera can capture superior images and offer you an accurate 24-hour surveillance. The tamper detection feature of the cam instantly notifies the security room on any unauthorized changes done in the camera settings.
The IP7161 is incorporated with other advanced features like two-way audio for inquiring from the visitor; 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet to offer power supply and data-transmission via single cable; SD/SDHC card for storing extra videos; and HTTPS encrypted data transmission for safe and secure video transmission over wide network.
