This 5MP HD Dome IR camera is an advanced optical surveillance camera. The product has the ability to shoot up to 20 meters with “Smart IR” illumination to help the camera produce better images and recordings. In addition, the device comes with customizable OSD (On-Screen-Display) and up to 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). Lastly, the 2D/3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) helps remove noise interference from the camera signal.

    This is a great product that exceeded my expectations! It works beautifully in the place I chose in my home and compliments the other two 2M cameras I have purchased. The pan and tilt feature is excellent. Set up was a breeze. My only wish for the camera is that it had a battery option, as installing in a ceiling doesn’t always have electrical outlets available.

    I paid full price for this. The camera is a nice size and fairly modern looking. Setup was easy. It’s easy to rotate it from within the cam setand it moves noiselessly. The picture quality is the only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars. It’s blurry, especially in dim light, and becomes pixelated in the dark, with white pixels in random spots. I don’t think you could use it to take footage of a burglar or anything like that since it’s a bit blurry.

    This camera is AMAZING! We returned a different brand after hours of trying to pair it with wifi so I dreaded doing this one when it came in and we had it paired and working in less than five minutes! The ability to move the camera all around the room on your phone in the app is awesome and the wifi antenna must be super strong because it picks up our wifi in the storage room we mounted it in where my iphone 7 won’t even pick up the signal, sot hat shocked us as well. Once you switch it to HD the picture is great (I can read the words on different things in my storage room y focusing in) and the night vision floored us at how well the clarity is in a very dark room! . I’m going to buy at least two more of these for the house after using this one, and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!!!!

    The camera stores video on the DVR that it will be connected to. The DVR will record and save video onto a hard drive that you will be able to access to view previous footage. The capacity depends on the amount of space that is available on the hard drive. The camera itself has no way to store video; it must be connected to a DVR with a hard drive installed.
