I installed the DVR without issue and the cameras as well. One tip is to figure where you want to place your Cams and your DVR before you buy this or any security video system. I knew that the 50ft. of cable would be sufficient and I had a hard drive I could use so this unit was good enough for me. I am a person who works in the PC tech field so had no issues with the setup but if you are not a techy sort of person you may want to use a company to install this at your home.

I was looking around for a while and these seemed like a decent price. I had to buy the memory sepret and install it. But that give you the opportunity to get the size memory you need. It was easy to install.

I purchased this for keeping an eye on the exterior of my business. A single camera for my interior surveillance system is more than double the cost of this entire package so I wasn’t expecting too much. After reading some positive reviews I decided to try it out. You will need to supply a monitor, otherwise it comes with everything you need for basic installation. Installation is the same as with any other cameras and the level of difficulty will depend on your particular circumstances. Camera quality both day and night is pretty good. The software is pretty straightforward and easy to use. There are quite a few options that are standard in professional systems but nice to see in such a low cost solution. I’m rating this product 5 stars for a DVR and cameras at such a low price that actually works pretty decently . I’ll update this review if components begin to fail.

The cameras produce quality surveillance video. The DVR is a decent product but a pain to configure to work with remote access. That would probably apply to all surveillance system. If you know what you’re doing and have some patience, over weekend or two you can turn an inexpensive product into sound peace of mind with a quality installation.

Great picture! Really impressed with the quality we just bought this system as an upgrade from Funlux and wow. Still figuring out all the details but the more I get into to it the more I really like this system especially for the price.
