    DVR and Camera’s are great, before installing them you want to hook them up first to the DVR and let them run for a few days to verify if you like the quality and that everything works. Setting up DVR with web and phone access was simple, this require logging to your wireless router and setting up port forwarding for the media and http ports.

    This camera system is great. The only complaint I have is that the SATA HDD power cable was too short. That can easily be replaced. I’ve had this for a couple weeks now and I am enjoying it. The cameras have good quality video. The night vision is great as well. If you’re looking for a decent low cost camera system then I think this one will meet your expectations and more.

    Excellent picture. Completely satisfied.
    But it would have been a 4 star if the wires were 100ft instead of 60 or at least 4 by 60 and 4 by 100.
    60 feet are not sufficient for a set of 8 cameras.
    But still it s an excellent set.
    I just finished the installation today and was so pleased from the result that I wanted to reorder the same set for another site.

    I installed the DVR without issue and the cameras as well. One tip is to figure where you want to place your Cams and your DVR before you buy this or any security video system. I knew that the 50ft. of cable would be sufficient and I had a hard drive I could use so this unit was good enough for me. I am a person who works in the PC tech field so had no issues with the setup but if you are not a techy sort of person you may want to use a company to install this at your home.

    Impressive what you get for this price. I installed this in my mother in laws house after she had some problems with a drugged out neighbor coming to her house at 2 am. Installation was a breeze as far as running wires in an attic in the deep south goes. This system is better than my LaView I use in my own home. Good quality images from the cameras. it really has some nice features.

Pros: Great customer service, they know what they do and they have an answer for everything. Believe me, I spent like 3 days programming this thing, since I wanted a few options for the system.

    These cameras are absolutely great they have clear video with night vision no static or breakdown of video feed, with great color they are everything that they was advertised as. The only inconvenience is that this system needs an internal hard disk drive, it can’t record or playback without hard drive. Overall, its good. I love the cameras and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting CCTV security systems.

    I wasnt sure of the quality and ease of use, after reading how to install a hard drive in the box, I chose to put the box next to the garage then connect the cameras to the cables then to the box, I chose to use staples to do cable management and dameged a cable and couldn’t get a picture, the pics look very good, plus you can add up to 8 wired cameras and some wireless cameras

    First, setup was not too bad, if youre handy, it will be easy to install and program. Utilizing existing co-axial cables and stabilized power supply. One thing I really like about it is it comes with everything, so you can set it up directly without make additional trips to store for some cables/cords.
    * Images: The images displayed on the system are very clear and more remarkably.
    * View: These cameras have phenominal quality and the field of view is so much greater than my older cameras.
    I’ve only had this system for a couple of weeks, and don’t even have all of the camera’s connected yet (though I did test them). In a year, once I can speak to longevity, I will return to give an update to the product. So far, however, I’m very pleased.

    It’s really a big job for us to install all these, we read a lot review, watch youtube… finally we success! Yes, it worth. It’s a good home security system. The images are very clear, we can enlarge easily to check detail. We can get notification when someone come to our house. Especially when some package coming, I know.     Having problem missing a few items from the yard, needed extra security and peace of mind around the house. The cameras are easily adjustable. I had no problem setting it up. Easy hook up and to get up and running. I like that you can record everything that goes on at your house when your not home. It does the job for what I need it for. It comes with an app to view the video feed from anywhere. Excellent images for both day and night. Product as described. It does the job for what I need it for, couldnt ask for more.

    Excellent system- and i dont just mean for the price. We purchased this to replace a high end camera system that cost us over $700 for just 4 cameras- they failed within a year and their quality was really not as good as the 2M cameras. It was easy to install- But one of the very best things is their customer service. When you contact them they respond almost immediately and will keep contacting you until the issue is resolved. My issue had nothing to do with a problem with their product, but they we super helpful never the less! Highly recommend these guys!

    It is so easy to set up. The robust 8CH 1080P lite 5-in-1 DVR works perfectly with the IP66 weatherproof cameras. The views are wide and clear. more memory space will be saved in storing the same surveillance video so that I can check it out anytime. I can always know what is going on near my home by receiving instant email alerts with snapshots and APP alarm pushes.     The program used to view cameras leaves a lot to be desired. Options/buttons are limited. You have no ability to sync playback between cameras. Also, cannot change certain defaults like cameras on screen so I have to change it each time. The “wizard” is still requires a bit of networking knowledge to make use of some features though I was able to use most defaults that worked out.

    It took 2 days to set the system up. I needed longer cables to get to some of the areas I needed to mount a camera. Half the battle is figuring out where to place the 8 cameras to get the best coverage. Set up of the system was straight forward. 2M had me install their new version of remote camera viewing and that has been flawless! I did replace a few of the cameras that came with the system with a wider angle unit. This system, overall, has been great! I would recommend it to anybody to install in their home or business!

    This was hands down the most cost efficient product Ive bought. Definitely worth the money. I put up 5 cameras so far and the only complaint I have is its very sensitive to motion such as trees or bushing moving from wind. Keep in mind that the line they give you only reaches 100 feet. I bought a few extra cables (100 feet) from 2M and they work great!

    For the money, this system is great! I didn’t rely on the system to read license plates, but it does and works perfectly. Bugs tend to set off the motion sensors but unless you spend a fortune, all camera do this. The app works great if you hook it up to the internet.

    I’m testing the 2M security camera system before I do installation. One cable received is defective and I’m in the process to have this resolved. From what I see so far, the system works well, but need to do a full install before I can give the “thumbs up”. Will give a follow-up once I get my cable issue resolved and do the installation.

    I didn’t want to leave a review until it passed the test of time, but I suppose I could always change this if necessary.
    This system is fantastic. You can’t go wrong with this, even if you have to replace a camera or hard drive you’re still money ahead compared to monitoring companies. If you’re not a handy person, I would recommend professional installation. There’s a lot of time spent on your belly in the attic and running cords. If you are installing this yourself, get a wire fishing rod. The cables are only 60 feet long, so get an idea of how long your runs will be and buy extensions. I used the measuring tool on Google maps and was able to get ahead of that problem.
