2MCCTV brings you our HD Enterprise Surveillance Systems – 32 Turret 5MP Cameras and DVR. This system comes with 32 turret 4MP cameras to ensure total indoor and outdoor protection and security. In addition, each camera includes 1080P real-time video resolution and high definition. This allows the user to record clearer and crisper videos. The turret cameras come with 2 megapixels of resolution recording and a 2.8mm fixed lens. Also, the cameras include a built-in IR LED providing illumination in poorly lit areas up to 20 meters. Lastly, all of the devices are waterproof with a durability rating of IP67 which makes them perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

This is a perfect solution for someone who is comfortable installing their own hard disk drive! This has been a truly economical system to install, and with hard drives being as cheap as they are today, this was a really great way to go for me. With the money I saved, I didn’t mind spending a little on some hardware to make it a tidy, professional installation. This way, I have a few small jumper cables going from the unit to the wall plate, keeping cable clutter to a minimum. I am able to view live feed from my PC and my smart phone, and was easy to set up. I was impressed with the ability of the cameras to see in total darkness, and am extremely happy with my purchase. The only thing I would change if I could, would be the ability to shut the system down remotely. From what I can see, it is possible to reboot it, and it is possible to shut it down if you are directly connected to the unit (with dedicated monitor, mouse and keyboard), but there does not appear to be a way to do this from the PC Client software, web session (you can connect via the IP address) or mobile device. It’s not often you would want/need to do this, but I noticed this issue when I wanted to move it at one point during the installation. I just unplugged it, and haven’t had any problems because of it, so maybe it’s not really a big deal to shut it down first before moving (or whatever).

It will take a little while to figure out how to use this system, but once you do, it has some really nice features that make your surveilling efforts top notch. Camera quality is good, nothing to write home about but gets the job done. Motion detection recording is great so you don’t fill up your hard drive instantly. I use it connected to separate wifi router, so I can log in to the camera interface at it’s IP address and do everything I need to from my computer anywhere in the house. Great system!

The hard drive can store about a week’s worth of continous video with the 4 cameras setup. Not to mention the install and setup was a breeze. The added benefit of being able to use a smartphone to see thru the cameras real time is great as well.
